Test Engineering Supervisor

**Your Job**

We are seeking a Test Engineering Supervisor (M/F/d) to lead the engineering validation team at Molex VAS (Vehicle Antenna Systems) Hildesheim. In this role you will be responsible for validation testing activities and deliverables including support planning and performing various tests on our products according to customer requirements and lead the validation discussion with our customers. You will be in close contact with internal and external suppliers, and you will also be involved in improvement projects.

**What You Will Do**
- Work as part of Molex VAS (Vehicle Antenna Systems) global engineering team which includes mechanical design, design for manufacturability, rapid prototyping, and engineering verification teams
- Supervise validation engineers and technicians, lead testing activities with internal and external suppliers, and provide progress updates to Program Management (PM)
- Verify and review test plans and reports and communicate validation testing activities status to internal and external customers regularly.
- Champion our values to develop the capability of the Validation team and drive culture within the team
- Develop and maintain databases for validation activities, including test tracking and results and validation expenditure
- Implement and approve strategies to optimize validation cost while meeting the customer expectations
- Develop internal testing methods, apparatuses, and materials needed to achieve customer and product requirements, developing test fixtures, test setup, and test doors for functional testers.
- Identify failures, file observations, troubleshoot mechanical/electrical failures and lead root-cause analysis. Collaborate with VAS global engineering team to support root-causing activities

**Who You Are**
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Extensive experience in Mechanical testing, preferably in the automotive industry
- Self-directed, independent thinker with strong communication skills
- Fluency in written and spoken German and English
- Willing to travel internationally (5-10%)

**What Will Put You Ahead**
- Prior experience in coordinating/ leading a team would be preferred
