Research Scientist (f/m/d)

Clinical Chemistry and Immunoassay Platform

Full-time and permanent

Your key responsibilities:

- Establish and implement new immunoassays to support our clients and projects (e.g., for Biomarker profiling/PK&PD analysis)
- Ability to derive new project proposals and suggestions for methodological improvements from current scientific developments and publications
- Independently design experimental workflows and testing schemes
- Critically analyze biochemical parameters and interpret data in the context of different therapeutic areas (e.g., metabolic disorders women's health, renal and liver diseases)
- Monitoring various metabolic parameters in sequential samples during studies and in endpoint experiments
- Generate illustrations and presentation materials and contribute to projects by providing expert knowledge on assay development, device set up, quality control etc.
- Write protocols and reports and present results to cross-functional international teams

Your ideal qualifications:

- PhD degree with a few years of work experience (either PostDoc or industry job)
- Profound knowledge in the fields of highly sensitive Multiplex Immunoassays (e.g. MSD Mesoscale, Luminex and/or biomarker detection platforms such as SMC Immunoassay technology)
- Experience in working with both, preclinical and human biospecimen samples
- Motivated self-starter with a proven ability to manage independently project implementation and delivery within a multi-disciplinary team environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to move between the scientific and managerial levels
- Creative and analytical mind combined with a pragmatic and flexible approach to troubleshooting is of great benefit
- Full working proficiency in written and spoken English required, German is a plus
