The position is open for **Jobsharing **concepts.
The job holder has the full decision-making authority for all matters concerning product and prototype production, production technology and data, storage, dispatch, logistics and incoming goods. Approval of subcontracting for production services with agreement of the procurement department. Technical approval of components and production technology. Disciplinary and technical responsibility for the employees in the manufacturing department including selection and assignment of qualified staff.
**Your tasks and responsibilities**
- Leading the organizational unit operations for the area of Cabin and Cargo Electronics and KID Systeme GmbH on the site Buxtehude with the following main tasks:
- Assurance of production of all relevant Cabin and Cargo Electronics and KID Systeme products and related services on time, cost and quality.
- Assurance of total customer satisfaction for Airbus internally and external customers.
- Accountable manager for manufacturing part under EASA Part 21G.
- Constant improvement in efficiency of production in consideration of production time, costs and quality
- Budget planning and cost controlling for the cost centre
- Securing the move and transfer of the production facilities on the site Buxtehude
- Selection of suppliers according to development requirements and technical release of components in the area of procurement manufacturing
**Desired skills and qualifications**
- 5+ years of experience within Manufacturing or Engineering
- profound experience in managing operations and people
- strong customer-oriented mentality and drive to improve relationships with internal as well as external stakeholders
- several years of experience in managing budget and costs
- strong communication skills and ability to influence
- English as well as German language required
**This position will require a security clearance or will require being eligible for clearance by the recognized authorities.**
