**What AFC will do for you**

**You will be joining the Anti-Financial Crime (AFC) function which manages Deutsche Bank’s (DB) financial crime risks to protect the integrity and reputation of Deutsche Bank and minimize the use of its operations for financial crime. The role sits within the Business Line AFC (BLAFC) Corporate Bank (CB) & Investment Bank (IB) Germany/EMEA unit which has, as its primary role, responsibility for supporting the CB & IB business and operations comply with AML regulation, related laws, rules, expectations of regulators and internal policies. For this purpose BLAFC CB/IB Advisory GER/EMEA provides advise both to 1LoD Business on the policy framework regarding new business models and products, strategic organisational transformations, operational efficiency projects or sensitive client groups and to the specialised 2LoD AFC functions on business perspectives to continuously enhance the existing AML framework.**

**You will work cross-divisional (CB and IB) and cross-regional (EMEA and Germany) and facilitate the development of locally compliant and globally consistent strategies and responses to cross-regional initiatives. You will be closely working together with Subject Matter Experts as well as Senior Managers.**

**Your key responsibilities**
- **You are key contact and SME for the BLAFC Team in respect to AML related Laws, Policies and Risk Appetite**
- **You actively participate and represent AFC in bank’s strategic transformation projects**
- **You support the business divisions in the development of new business initiatives by providing AFC advise**
- **You represent BLAFC CB and IB during AFC related projects and working groups**
- **You work closely with AFC Framework to ensure business specifics are considered**

**Your skills and experiences**
- **Minimum of 5 years of practice and relevant experience in AML/AFC/Compliance in a major financial institution (preferably international)**
- **Interested in regulatory issues**
- **Experienced in providing financial crime advisory services particularly to senior business and AFC stakeholders**
- **Structured mind set and strong communication skills**
- **Ability to work autonomously and with limited supervision; proactive and self-motivated**

Sie werden Teil der Anti-Financial Crime (AFC)-Funktion, die die Finanzkriminalitätsrisiken der Deutschen Bank (DB) betreut, um die Integrität und den Ruf der Deutschen Bank zu schützen und einen Missbrauch ihrer Geschäftstätigkeit für Finanzkriminalität zu minimieren. Die Funktion ist innerhalb der Business Line AFC (BLAFC) Corporate Bank (CB) & Investment Bank (IB) Germany/EMEA angesiedelt, die in ihrer Hauptaufgabe dafür zuständig ist, den Bereich CB & IB Business & Operations darin zu unterstützen, in Übereinstimmung mit der AML-Regulierung, verbundenen Gesetzen, Regeln, Erwartungen der Aufsichtsbehörden und interne Richtlinien zu handeln. Zu diesem Zweck berät BLAFC CB/IB Advisory GER/EMEA sowohl die 1LoD Geschäftsbereiche bezüglich des Richtlinienrahmenwerks bei neuen Geschäftsmodellen und Produkten, bei strategischen organisatorischen Transformationen, bei betrieblichen Effizienzprojekte oder sensiblen Kundengruppen. Ebenso vermittelt sie den spezialisierten 2LoD AFC-Funktionen die Perspektive der Geschäftsbereiche bei der kontinuierlichen Verbesserung des bestehenden AML-Rahmenwerks.

Sie arbeiten bereichsübergreifend (CB und IB) und überregional (EMEA und Deutschland) und unterstützen die Entwicklung lokal konformer und global konsistenter Strategien und Reaktionen auf überregionale Initiativen. Dabei arbeiten Sie eng mit Fachexperten sowie Führungskräften zusammen.

- Sie sind Ansprechpartner und Fachexperte im BLAFC-Team in Bezug auf AML-bezogene Gesetze, Richtlinien und Risikoabschätzung
- Sie nehmen aktiv teil an und vertreten AFC in strategischen Transformationsprojekten der Bank
- Sie beraten die Geschäftsbereiche bei der Entwicklung neuer Geschäftsinitiativen in AFC Fragen
- Sie vertreten BLAFC CB und IB bei Projekten und Arbeitsgruppen mit AFC Bezug
