Porject description
- You will be involved in the C ³OMBAT-AML research unit (RU). We will exploit recent advances in epigenetic profiling, proteogenomics, functional genomics, preclinical mouse modeling to gain new yet impossible insights into Oncogenic Mechanisms and achieve a major step in developing innovative immunotherapeutic concepts to BeAT Acute Meloid Leukemia.
- You will define aberrant epigenetic programs and protein networks that drive leukemia progression.
- You will resolve their features to probe the oncogenic interactome. High throughput screening platforms (drug library, shRNA and CRISPR-Cas9) and cellular assays in primary murine and human cells and patient samples, coupled with advanced flow cytometry and gene expression analysis (RNA-Sec, Western blots) will be used. The aim is to derive and evaluate preclinical therapeutic interventions to overcome current obstacles in the treatment of AML using our biobank of patient derived xenografts. These collaborative efforts will promote research on the therapeutic potential of targeting aberrant networks in AML, with projected benefits for patients.

We expect
- You should have a strong background in biology and genetics.
- Knowledge of tissue culture and molecular biology are required. A FELASA certificate (or equivalent) is preferred.
- Experience with bioinformatics (analysis of next generation sequencing data) will be considered a plus.
- You should be highly motivated, able to work in a team have good communication skills and be fluent in English (spoken and written).
- Due to legal regulation, a valid proof of measles immunity / measles vaccination is required.
