Business Process Owner

**Job Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Design and implement optimized processes, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, standards and best practices
- Support the Global Business Support department in establishing process documentation, including process maps, standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions
- Support Performance Management in monitoring and evaluating process performance, metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, industry regulations and quality standards related to Marine Operations processes
- Monitor process adherence and compliance through audits, assessments and lead and facilitate process improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with the Marine Community and other stakeholders to identify opportunities for innovation and automation within Marine Operations processes
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging feedback, soliciting suggestions and implementing innovative solutions
**Requirements**:
- University degree in the field of business administration, operations management, logistics, transportation management and/or qualified shipping specialist or comparable qualification
- Liner shipping experience from a larger international liner company is preferred
- Proven experience in business process management, process optimization and process documentation in a corporate setting
- Knowledge of process improvement methodologies, such as Lean Six Sigma and experience in driving process improvement initiatives
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in process mapping and documentation tools
