**Duties**:
- Serves as Communications Security (COMSEC) management custodian and Information System Security Officer (ISSO) in the Cybersecurity Division of the Network Enterprise Center (NEC) within 52d Signal Battalion.
- Responsible for working as part of the Battalion’s Cybersecurity Team.
- Oversees the Risk Management Framework (RMF) program, assist with Certification and Accreditation, and manages the Risk and Vulnerability programs.
- Provides technical support and guidance to NEC mission partners and exercise/rotational units in matters involving a wide range of cybersecurity topics.

- This position requires the incumbent to possess, or obtain and maintain, a valid regular or official U.S. Passport.
- Three year trial/probationary period may be required.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a TOP SECRET security clearance based on Tier 5 background investigation with eligibility for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI).
- This position is covered by the Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Program.
- The incumbent is required to sign a DA Form 5019-R, and must pass urinalysis testing, as required prior to appointment and periodically thereafter.
- Required to maintain military and states side driver's license.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain an IAM-Level II certification IAW DoD 8570.01-M within 6 months of appointment to the position.
- May be required to travel up to 15%.
- This position is designated Mission Essential.
- In the event of severe weather conditions or other such emergency type situations (natural or man-made disaster) the incumbent is required to report to work or remain at work as scheduled to support mission operations.
- In accordance with AR 690-11, this position may be designated as "Emergency-Essential". Emergency-Essential designation takes precedence over any transportation agreement or military recall status.
- In the event of a crisis situation or wartime, the incumbent must continue to perform the duties and requirements of the position s subsequent to mobilization or an evacuation order.
- This position is designated as Key. The position cannot be vacated during a national emergency or mobilization without seriously impairing the mission.
- Required to work overtime and other than normal duty hours which may include evenings, weekends, and/or holidays.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a TMP driver's license.

- In accordance with DoD CES Personnel System Implementation Guidance for Overseas Rotations and Administrative Return Rights, employees must be able to satisfy the rotation requirement and tour limitations in DoD Instruction 1400.25 Volume 1230.

To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe one year of specialized experience that demonstrates the possession of knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Such experience is typically in or directly related to the work of the position to be filled. Specialized experience would be demonstrated by**:(1) **conducting system security evaluations, audits and reviews in order to defend against unauthorized access to systems, networks and data; **(2) **conducting authority to connect documentation; such as: Authority to Connect/Authority to Operate accreditations; **(3)** evaluating the effectiveness of current systems, networks and data to identify vulnerabilities, risks and protections needs; and **(4) **managing and auditing accreditation paperwork, writing memorandums for record, oral and written briefing of command and leadership.
The specialized experience must include, or be supplemented by, information technology related experience (paid or unpaid experience and/or completion of specific, intensive training, as appropriate) which demonstrates each of the four competencies, as defined:
(1) Attention to Detail - Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail. Examples of IT-related experience demonstrating this competency include: completing thorough and accurate work independently, even in the most difficult or stressful situations; occasionally reviewing work completed by others.
