Join us as a Regulatory Reporting Officer
- We’ll look to you to support the delivery of regulatory reporting obligations for our Germany branch
- Day-to-day, you’ll help with the production of accurate regulatory reporting to German authorities and other regulatory reporting functions as needed

**What you’ll do**:
Your daily responsibilities will see you assisting with the accurate and timely delivery of the regulatory returns of our Germany branch to the Bundesbank, BaFin, Group Management and other relevant regulatory bodies that’re in line with applicable regulations.

Not only will you be escalating issues to the Regulatory Reporting Manager, but you’ll be performing reconciliation activities with head office, reporting to regulatory returns as appropriate to ensure the effective control around our outputs.

In addition, you’ll be:

- Providing information as required by both internal and external auditors in consultation with the Regulatory Reporting Manager and branch management
- Assisting with the delivery of all German reporting for German banking entities, including capital requirements and prudential, regulatory and large exposure reporting
- Helping the Regulatory Reporting Manager with the preparation of statistical data, including the interest rate co-efficient and ALCO agenda items of our Germany branch
- Delivering a regulatory reporting service that’s in line with our internal service management policies and agreements to other parts of our bank that’re operating in Germany
- Supporting the Regulatory Reporting Manager with the maintenance of the German regulatory reporting operational handbook and its procedures

**The skills you’ll need**:
To be successful in this role, you’ll have relevant financial services reporting experience, with a focus on technical knowledge and an understanding of financial accounting.

As well as this, you’ll be fluent in, and have the ability to write, read and speak, English and German and have experience of relevant German legal policies, regulatory and statutory obligations and risk management.

Furthermore, you’ll need:

- An understanding of regulatory reporting software
- Knowledge of central bank requirements and the local German regulatory framework
- The ability to challenge surrounding data received for regulatory reports and returns
