Vie - Assistant Plant Controller - (H/F)

**Missions et responsabilités**
Join the Saint-Gobain Group and become a member of our team at Saint-Gobain Diamantwerkzeuge GmbH in Norderstedt, Hamburg. As a VIE in Controlling and Finance, you will support our Finance Controller as a business partner, delivering KPIs, and providing insightful analysis to enhance our business performance. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain valuable experience in plant controlling and work in a dynamic environment.

**Responsibilities**:
As our Assistant Plant Controller, you’ll:

- Assist in month-end reporting, including monitoring expenses by cost center, production variances, sales, raw material consumption, inventory, etc,
- Participate in the monthly closing process, including the computation of accruals,
- Calculate standard costs and transfer prices to affiliates on a daily basis,
- Provide daily reporting on production values and monthly projections,
- Prepare reports on worker efficiency by cost center,
- Continuously improve reporting processes and maximize automation using tools like Power BI to enhance productivity,
- Participate in year-end inventory and asset inventory activities,
- Collaborate with controllers from the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, and Germany.

This is a 12-month mission, with the possibility to extend once.

**Profil recherché**
- Master’s Degree in Business Administration (major in Finance/Controlling) fields, audit profiles are welcome too
- Strong commitment and excellent communication skills,
- Proficiency in written and spoken English, and preferably German (B1 level),
- Solid knowledge of Excel,
- Previous experience with SAP or Power BI will be considered a plus.
