**We are seeking for**:
Kühne Logistics University (KLU), one of Germany’s top research-based private business schools, is looking for an education-passionate manager with an entrepreneurial mindset to launch KLU‘s modern, dynamic Logistics and Supply Chain campus in Ho-Chi-Minh-City from scratch - starting 2024 and make of the future KLU Vietnam one of the leading logistics schools in Southeast Asia.

KLU was founded as a private business school with a focus in logistics and management in 2010 in Hamburg, Germany, following its mission to foster logistics, supply chain and leadership competences and knowledge transfer in a globalized world. Ever since, KLU has received several awards for the quality of its programs and teaching, its excellent study conditions and regularly achieves top positions in relevant research rankings.
Internationality has always been a core part of KLU’s DNA, drawing students, academics and staff from around the world to our campus in Hamburg, the logistics capital of Germany. Building on our international profile and English-language program portfolio, we want to expand our international footprint and aim to open a new campus in Vietnam's vibrant business and logistics hub Ho-Chi-Minh-City, in line with our mission to contribute to global knowledge transfer and capacity building. In doing so, we follow our mission’s claim and want to contribute to local capacity building and knowledge transfer in the field of logistics and supply chain management and to provide students in Vietnam and Southeast Asia with an internationally renown education.

**Your Responsibilities**:

- Full local operational responsibility in building up the new campus in Ho-Chi-Minh-City from scratch
- Develop an overall business development strategy for the sustainable set-up of KLU’s subsidiary campus and brand establishment
- Establish, develop and sustain strong strategic partnerships, cooperations and relations with local higher education institutions and corporate partners from the regional logistics and supply chain sector as well as local authorities and government(s)
- Coordinate all facets of operations establishment: local market entry; company set up; build up local team, processes and organizational structures, develop sales, student recruitment and marketing for business activities in higher and executive education
- Coordinate special events and public relations engagements
- Stay updated on trends and emerging topics relevant to international higher education and executive educations as well as the logistics, operations and supply chain sector to generate new business opportunities
- Collaborate closely with KLU Hamburg’s Management to define, track and achieve business development goals and align overall operations

**Your qualifications**:

- Bachelor degree or above in Business Administration, Management, Law, Economics, Supply Chain Management or similar fields related to the position
- Clearly demonstrated, significant relevant experience working in building ventures, business development, strategy, partnerships, program management, sales or education in Southeast Asia / Vietnam
- A clear entrepreneurial mindset and spirit, and comfort to navigate ambiguity
- A strong personal affinity and passion for higher education
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, are persuasive, able to motivate your team and build strategic partnerships with academia, industry and government in Vietnam
- Excellent English language skills (IELTS of at least 6.0 or equivalent)
- A work permit in Vietnam

- You are a self-starter, hands-on, "roll-up-the-sleeves" manager with problem-solving mindset who can work with people at all levels and has experience in building and leading agile operative teams
- You have a profound understanding of Vietnam‘s culture and business practices and are experienced in working in international environments, notably in Europe/Germany

**Additional information**
- The position is based in Ho-Chi-Minh-City and includes regular travels within Vietnam, Southeast Asia and to Hamburg (Germany)
- An additional Operations Manager/Project Manager position is available to support you in your role
