By studying medicine at the University Medical Center Neumarkt a. M. Campus Hamburg (UMFST-UMCH), high school graduates can fulfill their dream and study medicine in Germany without a waiting period and independent of the NC. The UMFST-UMCH is a branch of the State University of Medicine, Pharmacy, Natural Sciences and Technology Neumarkt am Mieresch (UMFST Neumarkt a. M.), which enables students to study medicine in Hamburg in English. CPE Europe GmbH is responsible for campus management, including the provision of campus equipment and infrastructure. For the next possible date we are looking for:
Lecturer in Biology for September 2023

for approx. 5 hours teaching per day for 1 week, Starting from September 2023

The prospective job holder will be appointed as a self-employed lecturer for teaching in aforementioned course program. He/she plans and structures his/her courses independently.

**The duties associated with this position include**:

- Teaching Biology and Chemistry (on A-level / university level) for prospective medical studies in English.
- Planning lessons and teaching courses in accordance with the curriculum.
- Distributing scripts and study materials.
- Holding examinations.
- Supervising students in laboratories and groups works (in the context of his/herlecturing activities).
- Consulting and coordinating all relevant educational activities with other lecturers and the coordination team.

**Required qualifications**:

- Master’s degree in natural sciences, preferably in biology or a closelyr elated field. Completed or almost completed Ph.D. degrees will be considered an asset.
- Ideally,the prospective job holder has teaching experiences in biology.
- High level of motivation, conscientiousness, and reliability.
- Excellent command of English (preferably on a (almost) native level), as the courseis offered in English.
