Conversion Rate Optimization Lead

As the Lead for Conversion Rate Optimization, you will be at the forefront of our mission to improve our customer journey. You will be leading our efforts to provide an excellent user experience by taking ownership of our conversion rate optimization operations, as well as supporting your key stakeholders and channel owners in optimizing their performance through funnel optimization. Your expertise in digital analytics, understanding user behavior, and leading testing efforts will be crucial for the success of our company.
**Your Role in a Team**:
- Leadership: Guide, mentor, and supervise a team of two specialists. Ensure timely project delivery and adherence to established KPIs.
- Data-Driven Optimization Owner: Work with channel owners on examining their funnels, pinpointing improvement potentials and being a trusted roll-out and project management partner to our web design team on various projects
- Testing strategy: Plan, execute, and supervise tests, evaluating different strategies to continually aim for improvements across the whole customer journey.
- Cross-functional collaboration: You will be leading the efforts of optimizing user experience in collaboration with our creative, content and growth team, while being a trusted partner to our tech teams.
- Understanding User Behavior: Employ various analytic tools to grasp user behavior, identify points of exit in the funnel, and create strategies to improve user journeys.
- Knowledge Ambassador: Consistently present user insights, offering learnings and actionable steps to other stakeholders in the company
**What You Need to be Successful**:
- Experience: At least 5 years of hands-on experience in Conversion Rate Optimization, showcasing measurable results. Prior experience in leadership or management roles is a plus.
- Tool Expertise: High proficiency in using CRO tools, including Google Analytics, Hotjar, Userbrain, and the like. Ideally familiar with Optimizely, as it is our internal testing tool of choice.
- Communication: Skilled in presenting complex data insights in an understandable and actionable way to a diverse audience.
- Teamwork: Prioritizes team collaboration, possesses the ability to inspire and uplift team members and other stakeholders
- Commitment to Learning: Continually stays updated with the most recent trends and best practices in the CRO industry.
- Language Skills: Fluent in English, both written and spoken. Proficiency in German is a plus.
