As Sol de Janeiro is rapidly growing and expanding, we are looking for a Sales and Marketing Intern to support managing Sol de Janeiro DACH, PL, NL business. She/he supports all aspects of Marketing and Sales for the wholesale customers as well as National Marketing and Consumer engagement activities (local market campaigns, PR, influencers). This is a six-month internship position based in Düsseldorf.
This role will report to the **Coordinator, Sales & Marketing.**
**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
Strategic Role
- Assist Sales & Marketing Coordinators in providing comprehensive support to retailers for their daily requirements.
New Product Launches:
- Update new product forms for retailers
- Maintain product data on retailer platforms
- Oversee the delivery of product pages for new launches and assist retailers with creative assets
- Communicate pricing (both internal and external)
- Disseminate logistic and regulatory information
- Manage the process for cop translations, and educational materials
- Ensure clear communication across all internal teams (supply, sales operations, planning, marketing) and external teams (warehouse, retailers)
Administrative:
- Document actionable meeting notes
- Follow up on next steps as requested
- Manage operational trackers for deliverables
Marketing:
- Assist with updating marketing calendars
- Provide day-to-day support for the execution of marketing plans
- Tracking of marketing executions
- Support coordination of event logistics, including scheduling, logistics, and vendor coordination as well as taking responsibility for small-scale events.
- Assist in market research on consumer preferences and trends, and analyze competitor activities.
Sales:
- Review all received Purchase Orders (POs) and report the sales numbers
- Update sales trackers and report to the supervisor
- Collaborate closely with the sales operations team to provide necessary support
- Maintain close contact with retailers to ensure smooth transactions
- Monitor lead times to ensure timely deliveries
- Follow up with retailers on monthly orders
- Track DACH retailers' SRP on their websites and provide the monthly report
Creative:
- Oversee the delivery of creative assets
- Provide retailers with creative assets to ensure go-live date of planned marketing activations
- Track the execution of social and retailer DotCom assets and provide the weekly report
- Manage the global briefing process for creative requests and ensure optimal execution
**REQUIREMENTS**:
- Bachelor's degree or currently Master's student in Business and Marketing.
- Proficient with data analysis and business KPIs
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both German and English.
- Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint
- Highly detail-oriented and well-organized, with the ability to plan and deliver on tight deadlines
- Capable of working independently and adept at multitasking in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable working cross-functionally and building relationships with multiple stakeholders
- Positive and enthusiastic mindset
- Respectful of company values and maintaining a cheerful demeanor
- Comfortable working a hybrid schedule (1-3 days per week in our Düsseldorf office)

In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with the possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.
