EXPERT TECHNOLOGY RESEARCH & TECHNOLOGY COMMUNICATION (PART-TIME: 22H/WEEK) (F/M/D)
TECHNOLOGY RESEARCH & TECHNICAL REGULATION COMPLIANCE INSPIRED BY YOU - YOUR TASKS
Participate in the development of Mazda’s product and technology strategy in the areas of automotive HMI (human-machine-interface), vehicle infotainment and connectivity
Proceed HMI and connectivity-related technology/innovation research and assessment, compiling benchmarking data, competitive and supplier information from the European market and academia
Contribute to the technology and the product development processes, product cycle plan and strategy processes with focus on HMI and connectivity technologies through co-creation with other internal departments and the European and global HQs
Support or handle complex product related issues and provide suggestions for improvements as well as prepare relevant comprehensive reports and analyses
Support implementation of relevant policies, processes and systems
Facilitate and coordinate workflows with external business contacts like suppliers, engineering partners and academia as well as participate in related discussions e.g. by visiting conferences
Foster and participate in workflows with internal departments in Mazda Europe and Mazda HQ Japan to support shared planning and mutual understanding
PASSION MEETS POWER - YOUR PROFILE
Relevant first work experience in technology research, ideally with focus on HMI and/or connectivity
Ability to understand and filter available information according to their relevance
Competence to develop and propose strategic lines of action based on the collected information
Good general knowledge of the European automotive market background
Willingness to interact with other teams and departments
Strong analytical understanding
Valid driving license class B
Good German and English communication skills and easy integration into a multi-cultural working environment
