**Introduction**:
quantilope is looking for a Junior Payroll Accountant to join our Finance Team. The Junior Payroll Accountant ensures accurate and timely payroll processing for a globally distributed workforce. This involves managing payroll data in various systems, collaborating with external payroll providers to administer benefits and retirement plans, and addressing employee inquiries.

**What you will be doing**:

- Ensuring the accuracy and timely delivery of payroll in cooperation with our international external payroll service providers.
- Maintaining payroll information in the personnel management system (Personio) and the ERP system (NetSuite).
- Keeping ESOP participant data up to date and accurate.
- Collaborating with our international external payroll service providers to manage employee benefits and retirement plans like 401(k) or comparable programs.
- Addressing inquiries regarding payroll-related matters.
- Identifying and resolving payroll inconsistencies and problems.
- Participating in both specific and continuous accounting or payroll projects.
- Collaborating with diverse individuals from various cultures, geographical regions, and functional positions.
- Contributing to process improvements and making a difference in a collaborative work environment.

**Who you are**:

- At least one to three years of payroll experience.
- Possesses a thorough understanding of key accounting concepts as they relate to payroll, such as the amortization of bonuses.
- Experience utilizing relevant accounting and human resource management systems.
- Ability to manage multiple jurisdictions and collaborate effectively with various local outsourcing vendors.
- Capable of operating effectively in a globa;lly distributed workforce environment.

**Nice to have**:

- Ability to speak German
