**The role**:
As **Head of Procurement **you will join a fantastic Operations team at one of the fastest growing companies in Europe. You will tackle tough challenges and work with our suppliers around the world on value-creating solutions. The position will be located in one of our growing European markets.

You will work with a smart group of professionals in a dynamic global environment where you will use your in-depth expertise, strategic thinking, advisory, and ability to convert opportunities into outcomes, to drive the transformation of the procurement and supply chain function at HelloFresh. In this role you will report into the country level Operations Leadership, with a dotted line into the International VP Procurement & SCM.

**What you'll do**:

- Lead a procurement team in one of our growing markets
- Strategic development and optimization of our ingredient and packaging supplier network across a selected country group
- Ensure strong operational procurement performance with regard to ensuring everything is received on time, in full and in quality
- Vendor selection and leading supplier negotiations across categories
- Lead value chain optimization initiatives within your market
- Define and implement best-in-class practices within the operational country organizations around the world
- Maintain and improve business relationships with key suppliers
- Establish and implement KPI's to help the procurement & purchasing functions to improve their operations

**What you'll bring**:

- Bachelor or Master's degree from top-tier college or university, preferably in business or supply-chain management
- At least 7 years of procurement and/or supply-chain experience, preferably in retail, food service, FMCG or alternatively as a management consultant with a focus on SCM.
- Comprehensive understanding of procurement function and wider supply chain management
- Experience working in a matrix organization and fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills and the ability to thrive in flexible team structures around the world
- Proven track-record of successful complex negotiations with external partners
- An entrepreneurial mindset combined with the ability to take the initiative, work independently and drive continuous improvement
- Sound quantitative and analytical skills
- Excellent command of the English language is a must.
- Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time
