- an Airbus Services Company (100% subsidiary of Airbus) - is looking for the **Head of Transport Operations **(d/f/m) **to lead our global team located in Hamburg, Washington and Singapore at the earliest possible start date.
You will be at the heart of the Satair Logistics Transformation Program contributing to major transformation projects and actively steer the deployment of our new global Transport Operating Model.

**Your main tasks and responsibilities will include**:
- You are responsible for the professional and disciplinary management of the global transport department located in Hamburg, Singapore and Washington
- With your team you will manage the transport supply chain for Satair globally and steer our service providers (4PL & 3PL Network) to ensure shipments are delivered in time, cost, and quality in Inbound and Outbound
- You ensure continuous network improvements and perform regular Call for Tender activities with Airbus strategic procurement in Toulouse to meet customer requirements while having sustainability in focus
- You manage the transport budget, identify cost optimization potentials, lead cost reduction initiatives and related projects
- In your global position you advise and support worldwide stakeholders and develop transport business strategies
- You drive transport related projects and support the development and global rollout of a Transport Management System (TMS)
**Your boarding pass**
- You hold a relevant Degree, e.g. in Logistics or Supply Chain Management, or a qualified ambivalent with several years of work experience
- You have proven leadership experience in an international environment
- You have a proven track record in transportation or logistics industry
- You have experience in managing external service providers on an operational and strategic level
- You are experienced in Project Management
- You speak English on a fluent level; other language skills would be a plus

- You have excellent communication and stakeholder management skills at all hierarchical levels
- You are very good in building and managing business relationships with internal and external partners
- You have an analytical and structured way of working with high problem solving skills

- You have a strong awareness of ethic & compliance behavior and regulations
- You have a digital mindset
