We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Truck Assistant to join our team on a part-time basis every Sunday. As a Food Truck Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our food truck, providing exceptional customer service and assisting with food preparation and service. This is a fantastic opportunity to be a part of a dynamic and growing culinary business.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist in setting up and preparing the food truck for operation, ensuring all necessary equipment, supplies, and ingredients are stocked and ready for service.
- Greet customers with a friendly and welcoming demeanor, taking orders and providing recommendations as needed.
- Prepare and assemble food items according to recipes and customer preferences, maintaining high standards of quality and presentation.
- Operate cooking equipment, such as grills, fryers, and food warmers, ensuring proper cooking times and temperatures are maintained for food safety.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the food truck, including regular sanitization of food preparation surfaces, utensils, and equipment.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, following established procedures for cash handling and reporting.
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels, notifying the supervisor when supplies need to be replenished.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth and efficient workflow during busy periods, assisting with food preparation, cooking, and serving as needed.
- Provide exceptional customer service by promptly addressing customer inquiries, concerns, and special requests.
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations, following proper procedures for handling, storing, and disposing of food products.
- Assist with packing up and cleaning the food truck at the end of the shift, ensuring all equipment is properly stored and the workspace is left tidy.

**Requirements**:

- Prior experience in a similar role, such as food service, restaurant, or catering, is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating strong multitasking and time management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a friendly and approachable personality.
- Basic math skills and cash handling experience.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects, and work in outdoor conditions.
- Availability to work every Sunday on a minijob basis.
