Staffbase is looking to hire a Global Head of Tax & Treasury to join our Finance department and lead global tax and treasury.
You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company's tax and treasury operations ensuring compliance, efficiency, and exit readiness. The role requires you to build strong relationships in and outside the company, move quickly, not be constrained by how things "used to be" and most importantly that you are ambitious, curious, and passionate about tax and treasury.
This is a permanent, full-time (40 hours per week) position.
**What you'll be doing**:
- You will design and lead Staffbase's International Tax Strategy, Global tax reporting & compliance, and oversee our Global Tax Advisors in a co-source environment
- You will deliver clear strategic and commercially beneficial tax solutions through the lens of exit readiness
- You will manage the outsourced corporate tax compliance activities and responsibility for all corporate tax matters in Europe, the Americas, and ANZ
- Prepare tax forecasts and budgets; tax disclosures in statutory accounts, group IFRS reporting, and review of tax provision calculations prepared by external advisors
- Indirect tax compliance and reporting, including managing US sales tax compliance for foreign entities with our 3rd party outsourced provider
- Manage R&D tax credits and optimize tax (LE rationalisation, IP, Transfer Pricing)
- Monitor global tax developments in relevant jurisdictions and manage the communication of changes
- Maintaining oversight on company employee equity plans, including managing advisors to obtain relevant valuation reports for grants
- Introduce a global FX hedging strategy
- Manage reporting to lenders
- Optimise cash by Legal Entity and take ownership of cash Flow Forecasts
**What you need to be successful**:
- Extensive working experience of at least 10 years in the Finance/Tax sector
- 5 years of direct experience managing tax & treasury
- Experience in establishing a new tax department within an existing team
- Global tax management experience, especially within the EU, Americas, and ANZ
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills
- Business fluent English skills, German is a plus
