About the role

The HR People Partner is an operational hands-on role that serves as a consultant to local management and employees delivering valuable service and support for the HR Head with any legal /governance-related topics. Together with Country HR Head, you will develop partnerships across the HR functions and ensure the day-to-day business.

You have opportunities to work on different exciting HR projects like Health & well-being, Diversity, and process improvements with cross-functional teams in Europe.

We believe it's important for this role to speak fluent German and English and have experience and knowledge of the country's legal framework, Employee Relations, and Works Council.

Key Accountabilities- Ensure partnering on day-to-day business with the line management in the country (sickness, absences, HR urgencies, emergencies, preparation of workers council documentation etc.).- Liaise with the payroll team and HR Generalists and advise proactively the colleagues in payroll if required (e.g., Business changes, legislation changes if known) for all critical issues.- Responsible for supporting the local implementation of strategies, programs and policies defined by Sony Global / HR Europe Focus Areas- Support and lead all recruitment activities and support business during interview and selection process- Support the onboarding process for all new hires incl. Students, International Assignees, Graduates to ensure a smooth and positive experience for all employees joining the company- Support projects to maintain compliance with the legal Health & Safety (OHS) laws

You bring- University Degree in Business Administration or equivalent with focus on HR (Bachelor or Master or similar Degree)- Experience and knowledge of the country’s legal HR framework.- 3-5 years of demonstrable experience in a generalist HR role preferably HRPP role- Proven understanding of Employee Relations and Works Council- Fluently in German & English- Experience within an international matrix organization
