HR Operations Lead Germany

As the HR Operations Lead, you will support a small HR admin team and advise managers and employees on various HR topics. Together with the global HR Operations team, you will shape the further expansion of our HR Shared Service Center. You support the optimization and implementation of standardized, global process structures and ensure the smooth running of all HR-relevant processes in day-to-day operations. The position offers you many creative opportunities in a dynamic work environment, room for independent actions and the opportunity to work fully remote. **This is an 18 month Fixed Term Contract position to act as Maternity cover for the current incumbent.**

**Your Key Responsibilities**
- Coach and develop a small HR Admin Team, manage the team workload and escalate risks and issues with resolutions to the Shared Services Manager
- Promote and ensure standardized, scalable global processes
- Manage and support the full employee lifecycle including On
- and Offboarding, generate all contractual documents and arrange, administer and complete employee induction programs as well as Employee Personal Files
- Ensure the correct handling of personnel administration for various LGC companies in Germany and Europe
- Advise employees and managers on operational and administrative HR issues and handle general (what are the legal enquiries expected - employment law related) legal inquiries
- Manage third party vendor relationships including agency and professional services
- Produce ad hoc HR statistics/reporting and support of monthly payroll process for area

**Qualifications**:
**Preferred Qualifications**
- Solid experience as a HR / Specialist with the ability to lead on process efficiencies and improvement for the wider region
- Ideally experience as a Team Lead or in coaching role and preferably progressed towards a professional HR qualification
- Previous payroll experience is an advantage
- Proactive attitude, demonstrable commitment and comfortable with working in a dynamic and complex working environment
- Excellent attention to detail and high accuracy of working and ability to manage, organize and co-ordinate on workload
- High degree of computer literacy including experience in HR systems such as Workday/Oracle/ SAP HR as well as MS Office
- Excellent German and English language skills
