For Hamburg Headquarters we are recruiting a**Head of Legal & Corporate Compliance (M/F/d)**

Your new job includes
- As Head of Legal & Corporate Compliance (M/F/d) you will be responsible for all contractual, commercial and corporate law as well as compliance and governance issues such as anti-corruption, antitrust law, data protection, money laundering, product compliance and risk management of Gebr Heinemann, its international subsidiaries and joint ventures. This implies the development of a company-wide risk strategy for compliance with regulatory obligations, in close cooperation with the divisional management. In particular you will- manage the Head of Legal & Corporate Compliance department and develop, motivate and lead your team of 5 employees
- analyze basic procedures for achieving a risk-based strategy for the coming years, also taking into account new regulatory challenges (e.g. CSRD etc.) and further develop and advance the structure
- be the point of contact for all organizational units, locations and joint ventures on various legal and compliance-related issues (e.g. tender processes, dialogue with suppliers and customers on various legal requirements)
- conduct strong stakeholder management within the various divisions as well as with external interfaces (including authorities, business partners and external consultants)

What you should bring along
- Completed studies in law, preferably 2nd state examination or comparable qualification
- Many years of professional experience, ideally in an internationally active (commercial) company or a law firm
- Several years of management experience and enjoy inspiring, motivating and developing people
- Strong interest and knowledge in travel retail and geopolitical contexts that have an impact on travelling of different nationalities and countries
- Strong stakeholder management skills, especially in relationship building, as well as convincing communication and negotiation skills with international customers, suppliers and service providers
- Business fluent in written and spoken German and English
