**Working field**:
Administration and the specialization area of Business Taxation. In the Master's program Finance, Accounting, Taxation, we are responsible for several compulsory, elective and optional courses (e.g. Tax Effects). We offer an interesting field of work with the possibility of self-development (possibly towards a subsequent academic career) and quite some freedom in the design of the work content.
**Job description**:
Research: Collaboration in joint projects and development of own projects for publication in relevant journals with the aim of obtaining a doctorate. Participation in a doctoral studies program including advanced training events (e.g. VHB-ProDok courses) and workshops/conferences (e.g. annual Arqus conference) is enabled and expected.
Teaching: Tutorials etc. in the bachelor and master program, collaboration in seminars, co
- supervision of theses, organization of external lectureships.
Teaching Languages: German
(~75%) and English. If you are not yet fluent in German, you can teach in English for the first
year.
The job serves for your own scientific qualification.

**Requirements**:

- Master's degree in Business Administration/Economics with a scientific orientation and a
major in one of the areas Accounting - Taxation - Public Economics.
(Professional) Experience:
Work experience is helpful, but not required.

**Desirable**:
Good overall grade in Master's degree. High motivation, initiative and ability to work in a team. Basic knowledge of tax law and accounting. Basic knowledge in statistics/econometrics. Basic software knowledge (Office, Stata/R/JMP/Python).
