**THE ROLE & THE TEAM**:
As a Head of Supply Planning & Trading you will lead a team that is aligning the mid term Planning objectives as well as the short term trading actions in a commercial matrix of Markets and Propositions & Portfolios. You will play a crucial role in making customer centric trade off decisions that enable both our Markets and Portfolio teams to reach their commercial ambitions.
The Supply Planning and Trading Team is accountable for reaching our Supply plans, achieving a balanced Portfolio mix that serves all customers in all markets. As such you will oversee in season trading levers, align on demand driving levers, risk mitigations and sign off Buying Budget adjustments. You will team up with our Markets and Portfolio GMs as well as functional leaders to align on trading guidance and the strategic outlook.

- You seek commercial opportunities as well as highlighting potential risks to react to the latest customer demand trends. You have a deep understanding of fashion e-commerce mechanics from both the demand and supply perspective.
- You are a thought leader on e-commerce trading, anticipating the latest industry trends and driving the evolution of our customer propositions.
- You are data driven and use these insights to support your decision making.
- You put yourself in our customers' shoes and don't shy away from making trade off decisions to protect their experience at Zalando.
- You easily navigate a complex network of stakeholders and align with them on a common commercial direction and timely actions, including executive leaders across the company.
- You have a very strong process understanding which enables you to navigate different commercial planning formats eg in Markets, Portfolios and Logistics to find the common ground for alignment.
- You demonstrate strategic thinking through developing improvements in our planning and trading processes
- You are your Team's Biggest Fan and foster a great team spirit with a focus on high performance and development.
**WE'D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF**:
- You have +5 years of relevant commercial experience, within an (Fashion) eCommerce background.
- You hold a degree in Business, Economics or equivalent with a proven track record in high-quality problem solving, project management and analysis in a previous role.
- You showcase excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to build strong networks of valuable partnerships at eye-level to increase business impact. An authentic and mission-driven leader who doesn't shy away from sparring with senior stakeholders.
- You possess a strategic, commercial and marketing mind, able to translate customer needs and commercial opportunities to a sound commercial plan.
- You are fluent in written and oral English skills and excellent writing and communication skills.
