The People Experience team is responsible for creating a great experience across the employee lifecycle, from the moment new colleagues join Moss, all the way through their careers.
As such, we are looking for a Head of People Experience (M/F/d) to join our People Team of innovative thinkers and build Europe’s next FinTech unicorn.
**Responsibilities**:
Here’s what you’ll be responsible for, day to day
- Stakeholder management
- Developing strong relationships with department heads to understand their needs and pain points with regards to HR operations.
- Collecting and analysing feedback from employees to learn of their experience and sentiment towards Moss.
- Guiding and coaching business leaders in delivering a first-class employee experience.
- Operational excellence
- Designing and implementing global, scalable processes and other initiatives that will improve the employee lifecycle - qualitatively and quantitatively.
- Ensuring processes are compliant and adhere to local employment laws and best practices, across each market.
- Owning people data and reporting, drawing insights to drive decision making.
- Knowledge management
- Overseeing the accurate and secure storage of all employee data, ensuring compliance with relevant data laws.
- Overseeing creation and storage of all employment-related templates, contracts, Employer of Records etc.
- Ensuring processes and information is readily available to all employees and managers via Moss’ internal knowledge base (Confluence).
- Team management and support
- Leading, coaching and guiding our People Experience Specialists in their day to day work, in particular acting as an escalation point on sensitive employee matters.
- Supporting the rest of the People Team in the design and implementation of people initiatives where appropriate.
About you
We think you’ll need the following experience and qualifications to succeed in the role:
- 5+ years of experience in People Experience/HR Operations, preferably in a fast-paced environment
- Minimum 1 year of experience managing a People Experience or HR operations team.
- Fluent written and spoken English and German skills
- Very strong knowledge of German labour law
- Exposure to working in an international environment and comfortable navigating HR operations in multiple markets (preferred).

- Strategic - you keep abreast of trends within your field and sector, and you always have your eye on the ‘’big picture’’, such that you’re able to devise plans and processes that are always aligned to the company’s stage, vision, and objectives.
- Methodical and organised - you design systems and frameworks that ensure you and your teams adopt a structured way of working and interacting both internally and externally.
- Resilient - you are calm under pressure, unfazed when faced with competing priorities, and bounce back quickly and independently from challenges
