**Head of Strategy & Steering (M/F/d)**

**YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Be a member of the PH IT Leadership team and be responsible for the overall PH IT Strategy and Steering of the DT IT PH unit (yearly objectives)
- Prepare and manage the Pharma Digital Council
- Lead with PH CIO / DT to shape and drive the strategic agenda for the Global PH Digital Transformation & IT (DT&IT) organization to deliver on digital transformation commitments
- Identify and lead cross functional strategic initiatives to enable faster, more efficient, cost-effective delivery of digital capabilities
- Drive strategic capability shift to enable the digital transformation strategy and is accountable for skill development initiatives and engagement with respective partners (internally, externally)
- Lead strategic planning process for PH Digital Investments on behalf of the Pharma Digital Council
- Accountable for steering digital investments globally to enable and maximize business value and transform and sustain the PH business
- Ensure adherence to overall IT budget of PH IT globally and manages the alignment with PH performance management and controlling
- Ensure that the IT investment portfolio is following the overarching strategy of True North Now PH strategy to deliver stronger business results
- Accountable to ensure execution of IT strategy in strong functionally driven IT units within DT&IT Pharma as well as to harmonize IT investment management & IT cost management across all PH functions
- Own the portfolio prioritization process across all Pharma IT functions and portfolio governance framework

**WHO YOU ARE**
- University degree in computer science, engineering or equivalent
- Long-term experience in designing, developing, delivering or leading software solutions in a large scale, highly complex global environment
- Profound people leadership and development experience
- Strong communication, collaboration and mentoring skills
- Entrepreneurial drive and demonstrated ability to achieve stretch goals in an innovative and fast paced environment
- Excellent problem solving, organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to evolve strategy based on research, data and industry trends
- Ability to measure and effectively communicate the business value of proposals and deliverables
- Ability to think strategically about technology and execute as necessary
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken

**This position can be located in Berlin or Leverkusen.**
