**The role**
As the People Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in refining the systems and processes that elevate our People Team’s service and enrich our employees' experience with MPB. Reporting to the People Business Partner - EU, you will drive the ongoing development of our vibrant culture, championing and celebrating diversity and inclusivity across all levels of the organisation. Your expertise in producing insightful reports will be crucial in showcasing the impact of our initiatives and tracking our progress
**Key responsibilities**
- Prepare employment documentation (contracts, promotion letters, verifications, etc.)
- Liaise with external partners (insurance vendors, benefits providers)
- Support payroll with relevant employee information
- Automate processes and systems for efficiency
- Develop policies and procedures to improve People services and the employee experience
- Provide advisory support on employment matters and assist in performance management
- Produce and present management reports on business strategy and employee experience
- Participate in employee programs (appraisals, well-being, DEI initiatives)
- Promote and celebrate diversity and inclusivity in all policies and practices
- Ensure the MPB employee handbook is up-to-date for the EU
- Manage the People team’s repository of policies and procedures
- Administer learning and development programs
- Develop and promote community and ESG initiatives
**Skills you'll need**
- Fluent in German & English
- Highly pragmatic, proactive, and positive-minded individual with robust organisational skills, eager to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
- Basic knowledge of German employment legislation
- Knowledge of local payroll requirements in Germany
- A strong grasp of the employee life-cycle and the pivotal role that proficient deployment of HR systems and practices plays in enhancing employee engagement and satisfaction
- Good analytical skills with a curious mind, solutions focussed and able to resolve challenges creatively, and pragmatically
