Nestled at the heart of the Alps in Geneva, Switzerland, our European headquarters hosts the Executive Committee, go-to-market functions, and Planning and Logistics teams. In Schiltigheim, near Strasbourg, our shared services center thrives with over 100 professionals managing Finance and Operations/Customer Service. Our distribution center in Cambrai ensures swift delivery to customers, while our 30+ Columbia stores adorn major European outlet centers. Finally, the Sales and Trade Marketing teams are displayed in 3 regions across Europe, close to their customers and markets.

ABOUT THE TEAM
The Trade Marketing team is spread out across 3 different regions in Europe to boost brand and product awareness for the Columbia and SOREL brands, working in collaboration with key accounts in the sporting goods and outdoor industry to offer a top-quality in-store and online consumer experience.
The Trade Marketing Professionals collaborate closely with the dedicated Sales team of the region and regularly connect with the entire Marketing Department, including Brand and PR Marketing.
ABOUT THE POSITION
For a maternity cover, we are seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Trade Marketing Assistant to support our team in executing marketing actions for the German and Swiss markets. You will work closely with the Trade Marketing Specialist and the German Sales team and will have the opportunity to enhance your marketing skills as well as your industry knowledge.
HOW YOU’LL MAKE THE DIFFERENCE
- Operational daily tasks of the marketing department
- Planning and implementation of trade activations
- Implementation and maintenance of online brand shops and stationary shop-in-shops
- Preparation, execution and evaluation of marketing campaigns in cooperation with the Marketing Manager
- Create and produce POP materials and digital assets in collaboration with service providers
- Support in the implementation of on
- & offline campaigns
- Brief and assess external agencies & service providers
- Support at end-consumer events and trade & order fairs
- Preparation of sales & marketing documents
YOU ARE
- An outdoor enthusiast and passionate about the sportswear industry
- Openminded, curious and eager to learn from your peers
- Good at managing and coordinating multiple projects at the same time
- A team player, you love to work in a team and exchange ideas with your colleagues
- An excellent communicator and can express yourself in German and English
- A self-driven person, who enjoys taking initiative and constantly seeking to improve
YOU HAVE
- A degree in Marketing or a related field
- A first experience in marketing or trade marketing (internship included) within the sportswear or FMCG industry
- Proficiency using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, Adobe Suite.
