- Category Sourcing is your expertise? Negotiations and supplier management are your passion? You have got experience with metal parts?

We are currently looking for our future** Advanced Purchaser (M/F/d) Metal Parts **based in Blieskastel for a permanent contract.

**Your responsibilities**
- Based on a deep understanding of the company vision and deriving global sourcing mission, you will support the Category Sourcing strategies for metal parts to provide a competitive advantage throughout sourcing and leveraging local & European supply markets
- Immediately respond to unforeseen supply failures, working with suppliers to avoid supply chain interruptions
- Be responsible for the development and maintenance of the Supplier Panel for defined categories, including continuous assessments of any risks derived from containing suppliers and/or related markets
- Analyze, develop and implement best practice sourcing techniques to the assigned category portfolio, and compare and analyze aforementioned techniques with best-in-class companies

**Your profile**
- Bachelor and/or Master degree in Business Administration or Supply Chain Management
- More than two years’ experience in for an adequate function closely acting with vendors and/or suppliers, preferably within the electro-mechanical industries
- Proven track record in development and implementation of global procurement strategies, supplier evaluation and market intelligence
- Good understanding of production processes and technologies of assigned categories. Ability to understand value streams, cost drivers and how to break down cost structures
- Able to negotiate in German and English, French language skills are a plus
- SAP knowledge would be a plus
- Flexibility and openess to travel internationally to suppliers and to Hager plants (approximately 5% of working time)
- You are familiar to work within an international and multi-cultural environment
- Team-orientation and excellent written and oral communication skills
