**About the opportunity**:
We are seeking an experienced HR (People) Business Partners to operate within the divisions of our high-growth company as a valued member of our 100+ People Team. We are currently building up the strength of our strategic People Business Partner team to partner with our Business Leaders to further enhance the engagement and experience of our employees

**In this role, you will**:

- Create and maintain strong relationships with Business Leaders in the specific domain of Operations (Including customer service, European Markets and banking operations), together with a team of two (HR) People Business Partners..
- Support them on strategic people decisions, co-create people focused initiatives to support and promote the achievement of our organisational goals
- Support cultural and organisational needs
- Cohesively work with and negotiate with the local Works Councils
- Implement and drive global People initiatives, processes and programmes, and systems e.g. talent management and succession, annual performance cycle, promotion process, leadership onboarding.
- Educate and partner with managers on different initiatives, in particular performance management, conflict resolution, and employee development goals
- Analyse employee data and drive data-informed decisions to guide decision-making and provide solutions to the leaders you support
- Foster leadership development activities in your business function either from a company wide program or specifically for your area
- Follow up with managers and driving action plans to respond to engagement and proactively identify emerging people issues and trends within the business and work with your key stakeholders to formulate and implement solutions results
- Contribute to no open positions, meet or exceed time-to-fill goals for assigned area in partnership with recruitment and business leads

**What you need to be successful**:

- Significant HR business partnership experience and proven ability to build, drive and design people programs
- Demonstrated strong business acumen
- Highly developed analytical skills to deep dive, design, and land effective HR solutions
- Ability to balance the needs of our people and the needs of the business
- Coaching skills for both new and experienced managers, and their teams, to up skill them over time.
- Well versed in conflict resolution, demonstrating excellent judgement skills
- Proven effective and strategic partner who can coach to executive-level leadership
- Clearly and empathetic communication in a global environment across multiple cultures both face-to-face and in writing
- A passion for and previous experience driving high employee engagement in an international context
- Exposure to German markets, and in depth knowledge of German labour and employment laws.
- Experience working in a strong Works Council set up, ideally in Germany..
- Strong project management, and preferably experience in implementing and managing company wide HR projects or programs
- Previous people management experience will be valued
