**Position Overview**

The position, reporting directly to the local EHSS&S Manager, is responsible for the coordination of all aspects of Environment, Health and Safety issues at the facility and acts as a Fachkraft für Arbeitssicherheit (SIFA) for the location.

**Key Tasks and Responsibilities**
- Adoption and implementation of Corporate HSE Standards and Procedures, generation of new procedures as required - Constant decrease of injury rates indexes.
- Training EHS essential topics to the direct reports of the Plant Manager and to employees, ensuring the deployment of EHS knowledge.
- Behavioral, attitude and mentality change towards a Safety culture embedded in everyday aspects of all working positions.
- Maintain a management system to tackle EHS risks related to Contractors’ activities on-site.
- Create and test emergency and evacuation routines, procedures, and standards.
- Own EHS Audits results and push to manage the execution of all needed corrective actions keeping a constant tracking on them.
- Strong belief that zero harm is achievable and operate to attain it.
- Acting as a EHS SME on projects, changes and general day to day operational activities.

**Experience Required**
- Experience in international/global settings, preferably with multinational companies
- BSc., Dipl. Ing., Master or specialization in EHSS&S related disciplines or corresponding technical expertise, master craftsman diploma, Fachkraft für Arbeitssicherheit (SIFA),
- Certification as Safety expert individual according to Federal regulations
- Recognized qualification or experience within process safety. (ATEX, HAZOP P&IDs)
- Fluent command of German, business-level English languages
