As a Treasury Working Student, you will play a crucial role in our mission to streamline and enhance our payment processing systems and liquidity management..

Ratepay is seeking a Treasury Working Student, ideally with some background in finance, and a very good eye for details. In this role, you will be responsible for short-term liquidity management, account balance reconciliation as well as controlling daily payments.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Daily Liquidity Management**: Oversee daily short-term liquidity management, ensuring accurate account balance reconciliation and alignment with our liquidity forecasts.
- **Cash Optimization & Transactions**: Optimize cash balances, manage cash pooling, and handle payment transactions using our Cash Management Tool.
- **Hands-On Treasury Experience**: Gain practical experience in liquidity management and become proficient in key treasury topics.
- **Treasury & Cash Management Insights**: Develop a deep understanding of how payment providers operate and the business processes intertwined with Treasury and Cash Management activities.

**Your profile**:

- **Academic Background**: Currently enrolled in a program related to economics, business administration, or a similar field, ideally with a focus on finance.
- **Language Skills**: Proficiency in English is mandatory; German is a plus.
- **Financial Acumen**: A solid understanding or strong interest in Structured Finance and Hedging.
- **Organizational Skills**: You’re structured, detail-oriented, and highly organized.
- **Self-Starter**: You have a strong sense of priorities and can work independently.

**Important Information**:

- **Working Hours**:Due to the specific nature of this role, you need to be available Monday to Friday, particularly in the morning hours.
- **Part-Time Opportunity**:This is a part-time position, ideal for students, with a maximum of 20 hours per week during the lecture period.
- **Student Status**:You must be a current student according to German law, actively enrolled in your program, with ongoing exams or modules. You should be available to work with us for at least 6 months and must NOT be on a semester break.
