**Postdoc (f/m/d) in structural immuno-oncology**:
The fulltime position is available from May 2023 and for 1 year with further extension expected.
The iFIT Cluster of Excellence „Image Guided and Functionally Instructed Tumor Therapies (iFIT)“ is a multidisciplinary research consortium with an ambitious goal - to understand biological processes behind tumors and to develop the next generation cancer diagnostics and therapeutics.
The Andreeva lab focuses on structural and mechanistical aspects of inflammatory pathways underlying human inflammation-associated disorders such as cancer. By using various structural, biochemical and cell-based approaches we aim to explain inflammatory pathways on molecular level and to provide basis and foundation for novel anti-inflammatory and anti-cancer treatments.

- Plan, establish and conduct research experiments including: Large-scale recombinant protein expression and purification using various techniques, electron micsocopy and cryo-electron microscopy to determine molecular structures of the protein complexes, biochemical anphysical validation of protein complexes, cell culture work- Analyse, interpret and present research results and devd bioelop a research strategy- Perform a regular scientific literature search and develop new ideas- Contribute to writing research reports, publications and grants- Contribute to internal and external collaborations- Contribute to supervision of master and PhD students**Requirements**:
- A doctoral degree in molecular biology, biochemistry, life sciences or a related discipline- A strong background and hands-on experience in molecular biology, protein biochemistry and cell culture techniques is required- Expertise in structural biology is desirable amd attention to details, responsibility and creativity- Excellent organization, communication and documentation skills and excellent English (both oral and written)- Strong interest in structural biology and immunity- High levels of self-motivation, initiative and an willingness to take up new skills and responsibilities- Ability to work both independently, as well as in a teamWe offer an attractive and versatile workplace in a top institution in Germany, a collaborative and pleasant working atmosphere and an exciting project in a highly dynamic, relevant and rapidly developing field.
