**Job description**:
As part of the BMZ programme "Returning to New Opportunities", the sector project "Programme Migration for Development" supports returnees and the local population in making a new start in their country of origin. Through individual support measures such as vocational counselling, training, job placement, support for business start-ups and (psycho)social counselling, the project supports people in developing new career prospects locally and thus sustainably improving the living conditions for themselves and their families. The project is currently active in 12 countries: Albania, Egypt, Gambia, Ghana, Iraq, Kosovo, Morocco, Nigeria, Pakistan, Serbia, Senegal and Tunisia. Within the project, a software-based Case Management Tool has been developed for a more efficient target group management. The Case Management Tool has been rolled-out in the countries and is mainly used by the advisers. A project team is responsible to maintain and further develop the tool. To support these processes, the team is looking for an intern.

**Your tasks**:
During your internship you will support the following tasks:

- In the Case Management Tool-team of the sector project “Programme Migration for Development” you support maintenance and further development of the Case Management Tool including supporting the diverse users of the tool from the partner countries and Germany, consultations with the teams in the countries and further developing the tool
- You also support the planning, organization and implementation of workshops, trainings measures and feedback events
- Further tasks include the preparation and updating of presentations, training documentations and technical handouts as well as the support with administrative tasks (taking meetings minutes, document filing, knowledge management and translations)
- Interface and coordinate regularly with external vendor to ensure support provision and handling of technical issues
- support in PME working group "Digitization" in research and development of concept papers
- preparation and support for workshops
- coordination and tracking of ToDos
- updating of management report

**Your profile**:

- You are currently studying in the third semester or higher in humanities, social sciences, economics, communication or a similar study, preferably with a focus on IT or project management
- You have a business-fluent command of the German and English language. In addition, knowledge of French is highly desirable
- You have practical experience in the implementation of projects, ideally in the field of software development and/or -implementation, the implementation of trainings and/or you are interested in gaining knowledge and skills in these areas
- You enjoy familiarizing yourself with complex issues and are interested in technical solutions to existing challenges and problems
- You have a structured, result-oriented and independent way of working as well as good communication
- and interpersonal skills - You have very good computer skills and are confident in using MS Office (especially Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, MS Teams, Excel)
