We are currently looking for our future** Clean Power Solutions Architect (M/F/d) **based in Blieskastel, Karlsruhe or Obernai for a permanent contract.

The main objective of the **Clean Power Solutions Architect (M/F/d) **is to help Hager attain its public climate targets to cut our emissions in half by 2030. You will be a key player to reach this objective as you will lead and manage the strategy for renewable energy supply solutions for our sites (manufacturing plants and office locations) around the world, with a focus on Europe.

**Duties & Responsibilities**
- Take ownership of the renewables purchasing. Review the purchasing strategy (Power Purchase Agreements: on-site, off-site, joint ventures) and adapt it to Hager Groups electricity needs and business structure.
- Negotiate high value Power Purchase Agreements
- Perform financial analysis and business case justification for PPA and project opportunities.
- Create partnerships for development of own lands for renewable energy projects.
- Maintain existing and develop new relationships with suppliers.
- Analysis of macroeconomic developments in the energy market as well as those in its regulatory framework.
- Preparing preliminary estimates of project CapEx/OpEx costs and other key metrics for initial financial and business evaluation.
- Provide on-demand support on renewable energy topics to Hager organization outside Europe.

**Qualifications & Requirements**
- Degree from an accredited university in business, engineering or supply chain management or having a comparable education.
- Demonstrated experience in negotiation.
- Minimum of three years’ experience within energy supply solutions.
- Experiences with carbon credit procurement activities.
- Exceptional track record of delivery of value from strategic activities.
- Demonstrated ability to navigate and collaborate across functions, businesses, geographies and disciplines.
- Strong presence and interpersonal skills, with the drive to build effective partnerships with key internal and external stakeholders.
- Experienced in managing complex investments projects from initial concept phase until realization.
- Expert understanding of multi-step strategic purchasing processes and strategies.
- Excellent negotiation skills up to executive level with understanding of contractual negotiation, development, and local regulations.
- Fluent proficiency in English, language skills in German and French are a plus.
