We're looking for you to join the Sky Sport News Team
**What you’ll do**
- As Lead of the broadcast, you'll be independently responsible for the content and production processes of special programs on a wide range of topics
- You'll be in charge of cross-editorial, editorial projects such as theme days at Sky Sport
- As a sequence editor, you'll take care of the construction of broadcast sequences and the implementation of the program in the control room
- Your task is to carefully research, evaluate, write and edit current sports news
- You can present complex topics in a generally understandable way and categorize them according to relevance
- With a good feeling for images and stories, you create full journalistic film contributions and set them to music independently - even in a time-critical environment
- Creating messages and graphics for the live program is part of your daily business - thanks to your very good feel for language, this is easy for you
- At the editing station, you create all video elements, including news reports, independently and without the help of the editors
- Transparency is important to us - you're able to give appreciative feedback to colleagues and act as a role model in the newsroom
**What you’ll bring**
- You've a university degree, preferably in journalism, communication or sports science or a comparable journalistic education and at least 5-6 years of professional experience as an editor in live broadcasting in a news or sports department on TV
- You're experienced in efficiently producing and editing current film reports, interviews and other broadcast content
- You've outstanding copywriting and journalistic storytelling skills
- You're willing to work in shifts and are used to prioritizing under time pressure with a clear focus in order to create the best possible daily program
- Your strengths include an independent way of working, communication and teamwork skills as well as creativity and a high level of commitment
- Experience in working with editing programs is a matter of course for you
- Written and spoken German skills on native level as well as good English skills round off your profile
