Job Description Summary
The Research Specialist will be involved in maintaining cell lines, primary cell culturing, performing flow staining, and working with mouse models (i.v, i.p, s.c injection, tissue harvesting). He/She will be expected to independently manage the day-to-day operations of the lab in collaboration with Principal Investigator including keeping inventory and ordering supplies as needed. Other duties include i.v, i.p, s.c injection, tissue harvesting, and participating in more complex experiments including DNA and RNA isolation, RT-PCR, Western blotting, microscopy, histology, and immunohistochemistry.
**Job Description**:
The Research Specialist B will have a working knowledge of cellular biology to support laboratory studies involving the testing of novel drugs in vitro and in murine models. The Research Specialist is expected to participate in and perform experiments, data analysis and data presentation. The Research Specialist will be involved in maintaining cell lines, primary cell culturing, performing flow staining, and working with mouse models (i.v, i.p, s.c injection, tissue harvesting). He/She will be expected to independently manage the day-to-day operations of the lab in collaboration with Principal Investigator including keeping inventory and ordering supplies as needed. Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree and 1-3 years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience required.
