**Ihre Aufgabenschwerpunkte / Your tasks**:
Sie arbeiten als wissenschaftliche:r Mitarbeiter:in (d|m|w) in einem von einer großen deutschen Energieversorgungsgesellschaft finanzierten Forschungsprojekt. In diesem Projekt werden die Oberflächeneigenschaften von Hochspannungs-Elektroleiter-Kabeln mit und ohne Polymerbeschichtung untersucht und gezielt modifiziert. Als wissenschaftliche:r Mitarbeiter:in (m|w|d) sind Sie verantwortlich für alle Projektaktivitäten. Sie planen Experimente und führen diese durch, bereiten innovative Versuchsreihen vor und übernehmen die Projektdokumentation. Außerem beteiligen Sie sich an der wissenschaftlichen Projektveröffentlichung.

You will work as a research associate (x|m|f) in a project funded by a large energy supply company in Germany. The project focuses on investigation and controlled modification of surface properties of high-voltage electric conductor cables with and without polymer coating. As research associate (x|m|f) you will be in charge of the coordination of all project activities. You design experiments, prepare innovative samples, conduct experiments, and take over the project documentation.Besides, you take contribution to scientific publications.

**Ihr Profil / Your Profile**:
Sie bringen ein abgeschlossenes, wissenschaftliches Hochschulstudium (Uni-Diplom oder Master) in Elektrotechnik, Physik, Materialwissenschaften oder in einem vergleichbaren Studiengang mit. Sie haben bereits Kenntnisse und Berufserfahrung in der Abwicklung von Forschungsprojekten sowie nach Möglichkeit praktische Erfahrungen in technischen Laboren und mit analytischen Geräten. Idealerweise besitzen Sie auch bereits Erfahrungen im Bereich Kontaktwinkelmessung und Oberflächenanalyse. Gute Englischkenntnisse und Deutschgrundkenntnisse runden Ihr Profil ab. Bei Bedarf sind Sie bereit, an einem Deutschkurs teilzunehmen.

You completed a university degree (university diploma or master’s degree) in electrical engineering, physics, materials science, or similar.
You already have knowledge and professional experience in managing research projects as well as practical experience in technical laboratories and with analytical equipment. Ideally, you also have experience in the areas of contact angle measurement and surface analysis.
You have good skills in English and basic skills in German. You are willing to attend German classes if needed.

Die Stelle ist grundsätzlich teilzeitfähig. Die Vergütung erfolgt nach den Bestimmungen des TV-L und ist bei Erfüllung der tariflichen Einstellungsvoraussetzungen nach der Entgeltgruppe E13 TV-L bewertet.

Die Stelle ist für die Besetzung mit schwerbehinderten Menschen geeignet. Schwerbehinderte Bewerber:innen werden bei ansonsten im Wesentlichen gleicher Eignung, Befähigung und fachlicher Leistung bevorzugt eingestellt.

In principle, this position can also be filled as a part-time position. It is remunerated according to the collective bargaining agreement TV-L (E13).
