Is this an easy task? Not at all To tackle such a huge challenge, we need a great team. And that’s where you come in. You’ll join more than 5,000 CARIDIANS already working on the latest vehicle features and functions like automated driving, state-of-the-art charging technology, as well as a new digital ecosystem. Together, we’re bringing sustainable change to one of the largest companies in the world.
**YOUR TEAM**:
As part of the Technology and Architecture team, your focus will be the function architecture of vehicle and its interaction with the backend/cloud. You create and maintain the functional architecture for the different vehicle domains (e.g. motion, energy, driver assistance, infotainment,) based on model-driven approaches to ensure a sustainable architecture which fulfills essential requirements like remote online update or autonomous driving. In our case, a domain is a subset of the mobility system consisting of functions with belong together.
**WHAT YOU WILL DO**:
- Focus on function architecture at domain-level for a specific domain (motion, energy, driver assistance, infotainment,)
- Collect domain-specific requirements based on the feature and function list for vehicle platforms
- Be an expert with in-depth knowledge of your domain
- Closely interact with solutions and functional domain architects within departments and brands to bring your architecture solutions into realization
- Drive technical correctness, effectivity, efficiency, fitness for purpose and compliance with regulations, laws and requirements
**WHO YOU ARE**:
- Master degree in electrical engineering, information technology or computer science or gained similar competence and experience on the job
- Acquisition of knowledge and hands on experience in system and function architecture of networked and non-networked embedded systems
- Deep insight into one or more automotive functional domains (motion/energy, driver assistance, infotainment, connect)
- Experience in function and software development based on model based approaches, contributing concepts, architecture and code
- Networking person used to interact with peers all over the organizations
- Fluent in written and spoken English, German is a plus
