As Lead Interior Design & Visual Merchandising, you will own the look & feel of the Westwing Stores, working closely with the Head of Retail Concept & Operations and the Vice President & Creative Director Retail. Coming with exceptional interior design expertise, solid proof visual merchandising knowledge, a visionary and aesthetic eye & high attention to detail, you will take the Westwing Store experience to the next level, delivering on our vision to excite people to create homes that unlock the full beauty of life. This position is unlimited and located in Munich.

Tasks

WHAT YOU'LL DO
- use your creative mind to envision an overall creative instore strategy, that amazes our customers with a well rounded brand experience
- define a yearly retail strategy with frequently changing Store themes that create an exciting ambience for our customers to discover our home and living world
- focus on next level product presentation by developing captivating product displays and use visual storytelling techniques to engage customers and encourage interaction with displayed items
- ensure the execution of your concepts by leading Store teams to bring your ideas to life, including regular Store visits to ensure ongoing local alignment with all VM standards
- select and coordinate buzzing brand collaborations that suit your instore strategy
- stay up-to-date with industry trends, visual merchandising techniques, and emerging technologies, incorporating relevant insights into our Store design
- work closely with Retail Design, Merchandising, Marketing, Retail Operations and Stores to align your creative instore strategies with overall business objectives & campaigns
- report directly to the Head of Retail Concept & Operations and collaborate closely with the Vice President & Creative Director Retail

**Requirements**:
YOU COME WITH
- a portfolio that showcases how you can bring your ideas in Stores to life
- an education in architecture, interior design or visual merchandising
- 8+ years of professional experience in interior design and visual merchandising, preferably in home & living, fashion or lifestyle
- a proven track record in conceptualization AND realization of room sets, windows & shop merchandise displays
- high willingness and ability to travel
- strategic thinking paired with a commercial mindset
- excellent time
- and self-management skills as well as highly flexible and adaptable to business needs
- strong hands-on mentality and a high degree of team spirit and willingness to learn and develop continuously
- strong communication skills, fluency in English and German (written and spoken)
- proficient in commonly used graphics/visualization programs and MS office
