In order to expand our European Finance team, we are looking for you as a self-driven individual at our offices in Ismaning, Germany for the role of:
**Finance Transformation Expert (m/w/d)**:
**Your tasks**
- Support the development and implementation of the strategy and target operating model for the European finance function.
- Drive change across the organisation and support the creation of a modern, lean and scalable European finance function.
- Help ensure that the finance team and structures are capable of growth and can withstand business and regulatory change.
- Progressively improve the financial control environment to reduce risk and volatility in monthly financial results
- Optimise end-to-end financial business processes and improve processes, controls, and data quality
- Collaborate with colleagues at all levels at head office and in offices across Europe and support growth and expansion into new countries and markets
**Your profile**
- Relevant university degree in accounting, finance, or a related field; or equivalent education and experience.
- At least 2 years of experience within international finance functions, preferably in an international insurance company
- Excellent knowledge of Solvency II, IFRS and other local accounting standards and experience in a multi-accounting environment (knowledge of regulatory reporting, risk management or actuarial is a strong advantage)
- Well-structured, self-reliant and strategic thinking personality with strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills as well as the ability to abstract, analyse, plan, coordinate and monitor sequences of activities even in complex situations
- Very good English skills both written and spoken (min. C1) and the ability to move confidently in an international business environment (knowledge of German or another European language would be an advantage)
