**Postdoctoral Researcher (reference number 2024-0107)**
**Job description**:
The Frye lab studies the function of RNA modifications in cancer development, metastasis and therapy resistance. You will be part of an exciting and stimulating research environment, working closely with a team of researchers, clinicians and computational analysts. Our project addresses the question how RNA modifications dynamically control transcription and mRNA translation when cancer cells are exposed to a new environment during metastasis or cancer treatment regimens for example.
We utilize a wide array of biochemical, cellular, computational and in vivo approaches to identify novel epitranscriptomic key players. A major part will be the integration of nanopore sequencing approaches for full-length transcript analyses and base modification detection.
