**What awaits you**:

- You will be a leading member of a strong in house tax team in a substantial, very exciting business
- You will be responsible for the management of the Indirect Taxes department, where you will support your employees in technical and development issues
- You control and monitor the VAT declaration process with the involvement of the SSC
- You coordinate the indirect taxes of all domestic Vodafone companies
- You take over the management of VAT issues in the context of tax audits
- You implement changes in VAT law and interact with various interfaces, such as the tax authorities, VAT experts from other companies as well as from all departments
- You will be an active and valued member of the german tax management team and also the Global VAT community of Vodafone worldwide

**What makes you stand out**:

- A university degree or comparable qualification
- At least 10 years of professional tax experience, including at least 7 years in the business world
- Excellent knowledge of national and European VAT law as well as sound knowledge of income tax law
- Analytical skills, teamwork, excellent communication and persuasion skills as well as negotiation skills
- Trustworthiness, excellent leadership qualities and motivational skills
- Business fluent in English (C1 according to CEFR)

This position can be full-time or part-time (min. 30 hours).

We are filling this position in Düsseldorf for Vodafone GmbH. Employees will be managed in Düsseldorf.
