Short Description

As the Head of Indirect Procurement at C&A, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the procurement activities related to indirect goods and services. You will play a crucial role in managing C&A’s strategic sourcing initiatives, cost-saving efforts, and supplier relationships. **Your Responsibilities At C&A**

- Design, develop and manage execution of Central Indirect Procurement initiatives to effectively and efficiently manage third party spent including the market scope
- Define Indirect Procurement Strategy and targets and ensure execution
- Lead non-merch cost reduction programmes designed and developed under the strategic umbrella to realize significant savings for the group short-, mid
- and long-term
- Responsible for execution of the Category Sourcing Strategy, sourcing plans and programmes, central contract management to drive central strategic sourcing excellence to the next professional level
- Responsible for overall strategic category management excellence programme, i.e. Contracts, Tenders, Planning and Forecasting, Monitoring and Reporting, Supplier Relationship Management to further professionalize the function
- Lead the execution of contract excellence practices, perform negotiation with the strategic vendors and execute sourcing processes to ensure results are delivered to the overall functional and business objectives
- Develop and maintain healthy collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure indirect procurement is aligned with overall business objectives
- Develop and improve relationships with strategic vendors to manage supplier performance issues in collaboration with relevant internal business customers
- Responsible for managing Indirect Procurement reports, supporting communication with the business functions/market leadership team and European Indirect Procurement Team on time and with the required quality standards, to drive the visibility of data analysis

**What We Expect Of You**
- University degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration or equivalent
- Minimum 7 years of managerial & strategic experience in indirect procurement, preferably within fashion retail industry
- Experience in or demonstrated capability of managing commercial results in indirect procurement
- Proven track record of strategy implementation and execution in a change management environment
- Excellent people leadership skills
- Excellent English skills, both written and oral, German is a plus
