Medical Solution Lead Osteoporosis

We are looking for a **Medical Manager **(M/F/d) who is curious, enthusiastic, and focused to join us in our **Osteoporosis** team, based in our office in **Monheim**, **Germany**.

**About the role**

As Medical Manager (M/F/d) you will be responsible for implementing best-in-class educational programs and related materials in close collaboration with internal colleagues as well as with KOLs and medical associations.

**What you’ll do**
- Develop and implement impactful educational programs
- Manage and further evolve our own medical education platform
- Further grow and intensify KOL network and collaboration with scientific associations
- Create, implement and follow-up of medical projects (e.g. expert telephone project)
- Close collaboration with Global and EU medical teams in projects and congresses
- Co-Leading the Patient Value Brand Plan creation process
- Supporting the Medical Strategy Lead in Market Access related matters
- Working on solutions together with external agencies (e.g. medical writing, digital agencies)
- Leading internal trainings and onboarding of new colleagues
- Close collaboration and communication with our Co-Marketing Partner
- **Develop and implement impactful educational programs, related materials and projects**:

- Conception, planning, implementation of our medical education events, Symposia, Advisory boards
- Set-up of clear goals for medical education and solutions and constant analysis and follow-up
- Definition of scientific content and learning goals per events/topic/speaker together with medical strategy lead
- Speaker briefing together with MSLs
- Presentations as well as take-home-messages and event summaries
- Leading and aligning (with) all relevant internal functions (incl. legal and compliance)
- Close collaboration with medical associations and congress agency’s

Medical education platform**:

- Evolve further to acknowledged platform in the osteoporosis field in terms of events and content
- Content and Event Management (e.g.) include take-home-messages
- Close collaboration with Marketing and Digital Manager
- Close collaboration with external agency
- **Further grow and intensify KOL network and collaboration with scientific associations**
- Working closely with KOLs on best-in-class medical education in Osteoporosis and innovative projects
- Creating a clear plan with scientific organizations (e.g. OSTAK, Osteoliga) for a joint approach in Osteoporosis
- Working closely with the umbrella organization (DVO) in terms of congresses and medical education and projects

Leading internal trainings and onboarding of new colleagues**
- Continuous improvement of training concept and material
- Leading the training: Plan, responsibilities as well as update of the materials

**Interested? For this role we’re looking for the following education, experience and skills**
- Ph. D. or an MD is a must-have
- + 10 yrs of experience in the health industry (e.g. Research, Medical, Education)
- + 2 years of experience in the osteoporosis field incl. stakeholder contacts
- + 2 years of experience in scientific training
- Knowledge of German regulatory and HTA/Market access policies
- Highly scientific way of working
- Ability to translate scientific content into impactful education programs
- Ability to build, lead, communicate and collaborate effectively in networks internally and externally
- Strategic thinking, focusing on delivering patient and UCB value
- Ability to analyze data to draw conclusions and make effective decisions for current and future projects
- Learning through experience: Encourages new ways of thinking, pushes and stimulates positive and agile approaches
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
- Digital affinity and mastery in use of MS Office
- Fluent in German and English language verbally and in reading & writing
