JOB STATEMENT

The Metals Business Area provides processing solutions and equipment for metals refining. The Metals & Chemical Processing Business Line (MCP) offers products and services to acid & off-gas, fluid bed and light metals customers. We are recognized by our customers as delivering energy-efficient and sustainable process equipment and plant solutions as well as integrated digital solutions and competent services for plants lifecycle.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for technical services and support management, growth and profitability of the Gas Cleaning and Sulfuric Acid services business
Ensure service product support (customer, sales cases, delivery cases)
Providing highest technical and process (where applicable) expertise in area of operation, maintenance and troubleshooting for Gas Cleaning and Sulfuric acid technlogies and start-up for Metso equipment
Expertise support for Service product management uin creating technical service products and upgrade products, in creating operating and preventive/corrective maintenance instructions
expertise support or Spare Parts Operations in technology and equipment know-how
Expertise support to technology owners & capex project managers in start-up, training and operation and maintenance
Global start-up support when applicable for modernization and new capex projects
Frequent travelling required

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Five (5) Year applicable Engineering or Metallurgical Degree (or equivalent experience)
Min. seven (7) years applicable industry, company, and product knowledge / experience
A proven track record of professional accomplishments and reliability
Previous product management experience is an asset
Fluent English language knowledge; German, Spanish and other language knowledge is beneficial
TO SUCCEED
Strong plant operation and maintenance understanding and experience
Familiarity with the broad range of Gas Cleaning & Sulfuric Acid related equipment / products
Services understanding including equipment operation and maintenance principals
Site/operating plant experience
Deep understanding of engineering drawings, CAD tools, other commercial and technical data management tools is required
Strong data analysis skills
Decision making ability
Capability to drive and deliver strategic initiatives
Strong drive and product development skills
Competence development and performance management skills
