As Equipment Package Engineer (m/f/x), you will:

Provide technical mechanical expertise support, leading the equipment design engineering activities, the procurement and the fabrication of our prop. equipment related to our technologies in the proposal and execution phases of projects. Execute the technical procurement documentation (specifications, engineering and inspection data sheets, stress analysis specifications, design basis…) for mechanical proprietary and non-proprietary equipments and for the outsourced engineering services conform to the internal guidelines, the project’s design criteria, the international codes and the client requirements established in the contract. Coordinate the equipment 3D-CAD activities leading that team for the execution of the 3D-Inventor Model, the 2D guide and detail drawings ensuring adequate resources mobilized to the project including, if needed, outsourced recruitment to fulfill the time schedule and being responsible for budgets, performances and the forecasting of the engineering costs and the subcontracted work (estimated hours and costs vs. consumed and ordered, contributing to cost and efficiency of engineering. Facilitate the information exchange with the other disciplines (process, plant, civil, instrumentation, logistic, quality…) and with the outsourced partners and the suppliers. Coordinate the equipment stress analysis. Execute with the procurement department the supplier selection process (evaluation, comparison, negotiation…) for the outsourced engineering services and for the purchasing of prop. and non-prop. equipments. Manage document flow from/to supplier and review supplier documentation and plans. Facilitate that equipments’ inspections are coordinated and managed by the QA/QC department providing technical support. Contribute to suitable compliance PCM phases from the mechanical point of view of the equipments. Technical Support function in proposal preparation, e.g. tender evaluation, scope description, evaluation of exclusions of works, Engineering Services… Ensure a good relationship with our customers. Provide coaching and training within own responsibility area. Supports logistic to get equipment delivered to site. Raise safety awareness and ensure the design for safety principles are applied.

To succeed, you will need:

High individual responsibility of results. Deals with complex senior level engineering and/or development activities and projects that have a large impact on the current and future products and/or services. Leads, guides and influences others when needed. Geographical scope: global. Deep knowledges in vessel design acc. to International Codes, norms, standards… (ASME, EN, PED) and machinery directives with a good understanding of our process technologies (required: 5-8 years, recognized global expert in own field) Knowledge in 2D & 3D design tools for Equipment design (Inventor, AutoCAD…) To be self-directed, proactive team player with strong conceptual and technical networking and team building skills in an International organization. Supervising engineering work and self-sufficient package handling. Fluency in oral and written English. Master or University degree in mechanical engineering discipline. Leading performance and driving for results. Learning agility and decision-making power. Extensive experience in the use of procedures and workflows in the execution of projects
