In the 1950s, global trade changed for good. The invention of the standardized container suddenly meant that transporting goods across the world became affordable. And with that, paved the way for globalization and global wealth. But contrary to the container, most surrounding processes have not been standardized nor innovated—and are still frustratingly complex, manual, and error-prone.
That’s why our ambition is to use technology to simplify the logistics of global trade, making the processes around the container as simple as the container itself. We do that by providing a neutral infrastructure that connects all logistics companies to remove friction and create economic opportunity.
**Operations Intern (f/m/d)**
Your mission is to help the Gate Monitoring Team to bring transparency around container movements, allowing our customers to track all the containers they transacted on xChange.
**Your responsibilities in a nutshell**
- Ensure that our customer’s data is always up to date and in the right format
- Decrease manual data-workload for our customers and improve processes with the rest of the team - let’s increase our customer satisfaction and commitment together
- Come up with creative solutions to standardize data as fast as possible and build tools to automate our processes, helping us to reduce manual and error-prone steps
**What we are looking for**
- Student or graduate with a passion for large amounts of data and with superior excel skills, looking for a six-month internship in Hamburg
- You are organized, independent and trustworthy with an eye for details
- You speak English fluently and communicate in a clear and structured way
- You are great at prioritizing your tasks and you look at processes critically - let’s identify areas of improvement and scale up together
- Prior experience in handling large amounts of data is a great plus
