In the Siemens Gamesa offshore business unit, we drive and manage big scale projects, often lasting 3-4 years of time from the contract signature to final takeover of the wind farm. A strong focus on time, cost and scope is there for essential already in the sales phase in order to successfully sell the projects to the clients. Time schedules are born already in the early sales phase and evolve throughout the project life cycle. The sales time schedules are developed for visualizing the design, procurement manufacturing, construction / installation, commissioning and acceptance phases on a higher level during the sales phase and are the basis later on to plan and monitor these phases on a detailed level in the execution phase. To make sure these time schedules are maintained in the sales phase we are looking for a Junior Project Planner to our team.
The Junior Project Planner | Sales Projects has a key role in managing the time schedules in our projects during the sales phase and directly supports the Tender Manager / Sales Project Manager with various planning, controlling and governing tasks.
The Junior Project Planner | Sales Projects ensures that the sales time schedule is at all times updated, maintained, analyzed and that it is communicated properly towards the relevant stakeholders. The Junior Project Planner | Sales Projects creates scenarios for project optimization, risk analysis/-mitigation, runs reports and creates visualizations and proposals to enforce important decision making.

What are my responsibilities?
The key responsibilities are in developing, updating and maintaining the sales time schedule of an/several offshore wind turbine project(s) for the sales phase. You will further be responsible for tasks connected to e.g. monthly internal reporting, client reporting and communication, proactive follow-ups, schedule analysis and key stakeholder alignment regarding different planning deliverables. You will create scenarios for project optimization, risk analysis/-mitigation, runs reports and creates visualizations and proposals to enforce important decision making.
Your responsibilities and duties will also include:
- Developing & Maintaining contractual time schedules
- Preparing scenario planning to evaluate potential options
- Analyzing sales schedules and providing scenario plans for mitigation
- Maintaining the accuracy of project plans in accordance with project objectives
- Analyzing the schedule variance, risk and opportunity
- Preparing and presenting data to influence program decision making
- Coordinating with sales project team to accelerate tasks and resolve problems
- Reviewing contractual documents in regards to time schedules
- Supporting the organization with inputs from your project
- Giving feedback to the line organization on learnings and best practices
- Organize your own workload to ensure your time is utilized effectively

You are willing and capable of assuming additional responsibilities; to work autonomously, and to commit to stringent deadlines. It is important for this role that you have strong interpersonal skills as you will interact and work with people at all levels in the organization.
- Ideally you hold a MSc. degree within industry related fields, e.g. engineering, logistics, supply chain management or project management.
- You have basic experience of working in project business (preferably from the Offshore Wind industry)
- Ideally you gained insights in the area of or project sales phase and/or project execution phase
- You are committed to deadlines and show ownership on your assignments
- Basic level using Primavera P6 or MS Project would be an adv
