**Team**:
The Structured Finance team is mainly responsible for structuring and raising external financing (equity and debt) needed for developing and constructing onshore wind and solar PV plants. In addition, their day-to-day tasks include building and maintaining financial models and supporting the Development team in ensuring bankability of the projects (e.g., support in running due diligence processes, structuring key project contracts etc.).

**Team structure**:
47 team members in total, split into a:

- Finance Team
- Corporate Finance Team
- and Accounting Team

The team works closely with different project development teams, at all different stages for the specific project that needs support.

Very strong/ close knit team spirit, a young team, diverse (different backgrounds). To fit in, you need to be very open and enjoy to communicate with different teams in all hierarchies, be approachable, driven and motivated.

Not afraid to bring in new ideas and things they haven’t even thought about. Honest and open communication across the entire team, willing to interact with others.

In short: Team spirit is one of the most important things, especially for their Management Team.

**Personality**:
Someone who is entrepreneurial, able to combine it with the required experience and obtains clear hard skills in the Structured Finance space. Strong academics, knows his/her stuff and has done a couple of deals already on debt or equity side.

Not only assisted deals, not part of the deals, but lead deals (negotiated, even an SPA, not so narrow on the deal).

Next to relevant academics and having lead deals, you want to work in an entrepreneurial environment, can take decisions on a high level and able to cooperate with the CFO, this is a real opportunity - short management lines / transparent.

**Impact**:
You have impact in a relative small team in a big role.

Team Lead function, the team will definitely grow, not by 20+ people, but in a structured way with a good foundation, attracting smart associates who want to grow themselves.

**Content leadership**:
They need someone who wants to think out of box, e.g. having done large Equity JV deals, multiple Mio deals or build a 100+ Megawatts business in Italy.

Able to identify these deals and bring it over the finish line.

**Three dimensions**:
They need to find:

- the right people
- the right projects and
- the right capital

You need to solve one of these 3 dimensions: the capital -> you need to create more stability on the financial side, as well as diversifying the capital structure.

Solve the key growth ability and push the European Energy Transition;
- Grow the Energy pipeline, battery and hydrogen, PV, wind onshore and green hydrogen.

**Vision**:
To have the full renewable product suite. Example: if they speak to Mayor in a City, and they can build a PV plant, they also want to explore the hydrogen next to it to support the busses in the City and store the rest of the energy and sell it when the price is high.

**Career Growth**:
Keen to look at first experience, with a great track record, especially with a real drive. They expect to grow as a company strongly in the next year, also their Structured Finance team, hence now need a Team Lead to grow and shape the team, shape it in the strategy and play a decisive role in growing the team in this - and the next years, and be a Mentor to the team (currently 2 FTE’s and 1 Intern).

**Team Lead SF in its role**

**Principal Duties**:

- Manage the full life cycle of financing transactions (debt and equity) for the firm’s acquisitions and development projects:

- Sourcing of third-party financing from banks, development finance institutions and funds, and manage existing relationships with financing parties
- Structuring and optimizing deal structures
- Leading the negotiation of financings, including term sheets, legal documentation, and other related contracts, and executing complex transactions by working closely with our CFO and the rest of the team
- Leading the preparation of transaction materials (e.g., information memoranda, financial models) and manage external legal, tax, technical, and other advisors to ensure bankability of projects
- Mentoring and contributing to the personal development of the Structured Finance team members and shaping the team’s strategy
- Representing at industry and networking events and stay on-top of trends and key market terms
